This garden was a new build, designed primarily for the client’s mother, who wanted an English country garden that was easily accessible. An essential element was making raised beds for her to enjoy the planting as well as pull a few weeds! Well lit paths that are comfortable under foot were an essential, as was providing many places to sit and view the garden from different perspectives.
A hidden gem at dusk.
The garden has beautiful discreet lighting, that is sensor driven and efficient, no need to ever turn it on or off. At dusk when the lights come on the garden feels like a hidden gem. It was an absolute pleasure to design a garden for such a lovely lady.
