This extensive garden in co kildare is a 7acre property. Initially, I renovated the many herbaceous borders. Over time I designed and built many new features including the wisteria colonnade, a formal rose garden with box parterre, courtyards, orchard, extensive kitchen garden, woodland walks and lakeside planting, as well as a turf maze.
A place for reflection and contemplation.
The maze is a unicursal labyrinth hidden in plain sight, under the cherry trees, a place for reflection and contemplation. For Christmas and events, I also provided the house with botanical arrangements foraged from the grounds and gardens. Being able to stay involved in the development and the maintenance of this garden over many years created a trust with the clients and an overall continuity to the design that has stood the test of time.
